This erasmus + project involves young people in the achievement of new key competences on the management of circular economy and creates a new emerging profession by providing outstanding educational programs. Our specialized, interdisciplinary curriculum offers an education tailored to second-market needs. This educational approach promotes a greater understanding of the importance of the circular economy and creating a new Job in line with the expectations of the employer workforce segments in the New Economy as highlighted in the European Commission's Communication on Green Jobs. COM(2014) 446

We would like to contribute to innovation in vocational education and training and resort to e-learning via virtual learning environments, multimedia hardware and software and through social networking to help the participants to learn within the established times. We are sure that more and more young people will grasp the importance of the lifecycle of products.

The second-hand market is a growing sector and the circular economy is a virtuous business model oriented towards sustainability and responsibility which promotes informed consumption and aims to increase the lifecycle of products. The life cycles of products are increasing and products even transform or regenerate or get passed on in other hands. Today we are obliged to forget the dusty image that the second-hand once had and the consumers recognise the true value of products and contribute extension of their life cycles. The second-hand channel in the European market is the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes imposed by the European directive n. 851/2018 which enforce “environmental constributions” on producers and importers to incentivize more sustainable management. The directive has already been incorporated into National laws in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and is incorporated in the other member countries. The secondary market repurposes and diverts products that otherwise would end in landfills. Second-hand is growing every year and the percentage of the population involved in this market continues to increase and a number of key factors play a significant role for second-hand shopping consumer decisions. They include: social, costs, trends, environmental, influencers, etc.

The youngest generation is showing that the second market solves waste and environmental pollution.

This purpose plays an important role for the european youth employability and increasing attractiveness VET in the second market economy that is fascinating young people and booming the circular economy in the world. The pandemic has accelerated what was already going to be true over the next few years, making the second-hand market big business. It is indisputable that the existence of a second-hand market requested qualified management to drive the business. We offer a VET training directly in the field of second-market, by online lessons based on concrete notions just to learn the management, and this is also because there really are no schools to learn this job of the future.
